Sullenberger, the hero pilot of US Airways flight 1549, and his entire crew will appear on 60 Minutes in their first interviews since the extraordinary water landing on the Hudson River in New York City.Katie Couric's interview with Sullenberger and his crew will be featured next Sunday, Feb. 8, at 7 p.m. ET/PT.
The pilot and his crew became instantly known worldwide on Jan. 15, when they managed to pull off a masterful landing and evacuation on the icy Hudson River.

That was a great segment to watch, we had tears in our eyes through much of the interview. It was an amazing story as told by the Captain, and though he had years of flying experience, he admitted he wasn't sure he was doing the right things but just let his mind take over. Thank God he did it all right.

Linda and I caught this show as well, and held it together until the scene where the crew was united with some of the passengers and their families.
Not to toot our own horn, but the industry in which Linda and I have been working the past 14 years helps employees through traumas in order to help them regain their footing and return to work as a productive employee. You can see some of the typical trauma symptoms... the pilot replays the event over and over, has difficulty sleeping. The flight attendant in the rear of the plane refusing to wear her USAirways uniform, and her reluctance to ever fly again.
