An Apple A Day

Last night, Lee and I spent the night playing dominoes and a new game, Apples to Apples, with Aunt Kim and Uncle Scott. Now, I can play dominoes until the sun comes up, but it was exciting to play a new game. Apples to Apples is ridiculously simple, but a bushel of fun! It's interesting to see how the "judge" picks the winner each round, as it can definitely be interpreted differently by each person. I made a run by winning 5 rounds straight, but then lost in the end on a head-to-head card match with Aunt Kim.

REMATCH!!!

My group of mom,s who get together for game nights, have played Apples to Apples for a couple of years. It's a blast, and really gets us laughing so hard that we're snorting! I have the extender pack with new cards, if you want to borrow them.

I sucked at both games, but kept my game face.

the frustrating part of the game is when you have THE PERFECT CARD and the "judge" passes over it to pick a sillier non-sensical answer. I know of one family we play A2A with whose son is such a judge. I have won more cards by throwing down the illogical card when it's his turn to pick.
Still, a fun game!
