The other night I couldn't fall asleep, so I quietly got out of bed and started walking to my family room to play solitaire on my computer. I didn't want to turn on any lights, which might have woken Kevin up. The night was very dark, due to the cloud cover. Have you ever walked through your house in the pitch dark? I couldn't believe how many gleaming lights there were throughout my house. Red, green, and yellow numbers, dots, displays, blinking and non-blinking lights were everywhere! My house looked like an alien spacecraft! Lights from phones, computers, TiVO, clock radios, microwaves, ovens, iPod rechargers, televisions, etc. It gave my house an eerie glow! I guess I have never walked around in the dark in recent years. It was an amazing sight to behold! Beam me up, Scotty!

Alien Household!
