Awesome Etch-a-Sketch Art

The classic Etch A Sketch toy—made by The Ohio Art Company—has, surprisingly, become a unique medium for artistic works. Underneath the glass screen there is a coating of aluminum powder that, when scraped by a stylus controlled horizontally and vertically by separate knobs, creates a design. Though seemingly simplistic, it takes a keen mixture of artistic skill and geometric understanding to create a design that looks like something more than just chicken scratch. However, when the right set of hands meets the knobs on the now infamous toy, something much more magical can be seen.
